PICTURE THIS BAG Purse Handbag Tote Ellen Medlock Sewing Pattern

This is a wonderful purse pattern from Ellen Medlock. It's called "The Picture This Bag". It's designed to showcase a special fabric print that measures 11" x 7". There is one print on the front, and one on the back. The final measurements of the bag are 10" wide x 8" high x 4" deep, and there are 20" shoulder straps.

I am carrying this because of all the requests I've had for patterns that can use the 10.5" tropical fabric squares in my shop! You could easily add 1/2 inch side border to meet the 11" sizing, especially since that will be in the seam allowance. If you leave out the striped fabric border underneath, you also have the option to use the entire 10.5" square(s). I can just picture the Mermaid, Sea Turtle, beach scene, Surfer Girl, etc. on this cute bag!
