Surfer Girl Beach Babe Pink Watercolor Sunset Sky Green Mountains Tropical Hawaiian Luxe Minky Baby Quilt Girls Throw Teen Adult Lap Blanket

This is a luxe Minky quilt that features a Surfer Girl standing on the beach with her tropical surfboard at dusk. She is looking upward at the beautiful evening watercolor sky, with pink and purple colors in the sunset. This beach scene is Hanalei Bay on the north shore of Kauai. Mt. Makana, Bali Hai, mountains are in the background. This centerpiece is a 27" velvet panel with gorgeous colors. I then added Shannon Fabrics Dusty Rose Cuddle Minky as a 3" framing, as well as 5" Grass Green Cuddle Minky borders. The back is done in Shannon Fabrics Ivory in a pattern that looks like water bubbles. This was long-arm quilted with a beautiful modern Wave design. I used a fluffy green Minky for the edge binding which gives a sweet finish. The finished quilt measures 39" x 40". Please make sure to view all the pictures so you can see the details close up.

This is a precious addition to a girls baby nursery decorated with a Surfing, Beach or Tropical, Hawaiian theme! It would be a very fun baby shower gift. It could also be a favorite blanket for a toddler to snuggle with. This size also works as a teen or small adult lap quilt. It's very versatile & you are sure to love it. There aren't many quilts that will work for her from birth to college or longer!
