This design was hand painted by award-winning artist Diane Appler. She has a contest each year for people to submit their favorite photo of Maui, and this was the 2024 winner that she transformed in to a painting! She said the varying textures in the scene made this a delight to paint. I have printed it as organic cotton sateen fabric and made into quilt squares and panels.
