Tropical Sea Turtle Quilted Batik Mug Rug~ Swimming Turtle Ombre Brown Green Fabric Snack Mat Coaster for Adults or Kids

This quilted tropical Sea Turtle fabric Mug Rug is a perfect coaster for your tea or coffee cup along with a muffin or snack. This is also great for a children's snack mat or for protecting your counters from candles. The main swimming sea turtle was designed by Hawaii Ana Quilt and I printed it onto organic cotton sateen fabric. I stitched a brown batik fabric with water bubbles around the turtle. I added (4) Island Batik quilt strips in coordinating colors of green, orange/peach and beige to match the ombre transition of the ocean water to sandy floor. I stitched them on the right side of the main design. This was all quilted over batting so it has a nice feel and look. I used a green fabric with aquatic scales to finish off the front binding and back in a beautiful way!

The finished Mug Rug measures 11" x 7.75". It can be washed on a gentle cycle. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. May your days be filled with much Aloha!
