Tropical Seahorse in Ocean Quilted Batik Mug Rug~ Colorful Seahorse Sea Grass Coastal Beach Fabric Snack Mat Coaster Mug Rug

This quilted Tropical Seahorse fabric Mug Rug is a perfect coaster for your tea or coffee cup along with a muffin or snack. This is also great for protecting your wood from candles or for using as a child's snack mat. The main Seahorse in Ocean w/ Sea Grass was designed by Hawaii Ana Quilt and I printed it onto organic cotton sateen fabric. I stitched a tropical green leaves batik fabric around the Seahorse so it has a double border to stand out. I added (8) Island Batik quilt squares in coordinating colors of green, orange, and watercolor blue to match the main design. I stitched them in a patchwork style on the right side of the main design. This was all quilted over batting so it has a nice feel and look. I used a lime green batik fabric to finish off the front binding and back in a beautiful way!

The finished Mug Rug measures 12" x 7.5". It can be washed on a gentle cycle. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. May your days be filled with much Aloha!
